St. Matthew's values and encourages the study of scripture, and provides a variety of opportunities for such study:

Sunday School Hour, year-round at 9:45 am every Sunday -
 - Adult Lectionary Class studies the lessons for each Sunday.
 - Adult Class studies a variety of topics throughout the year.  
 - Age-appropriate classes from age 3 through high school.  Godly Play is utilized for our youngest classes, using interactive figures and children's imaginations in their responses to God's stories.

RALLY DAY FOR CHRISTIAN EDUCATION will be held Sunday, Sept. 12  Worship will be at 10:00 am
followed by introduction of Sunday School teachers for children and adults, making Pinwheels for Peace, and a congregation BBQ - please bring a side dish!

Women's Bible Study -
 - Thursday Morning Study Group, Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.  Enjoy studying a variety of topics with other women of St. Matthew's and their friends.  On the first Thursday of the month, make reservations to join the women for lunch at a local restaurant.

Occasional Retreats -
 - Occasional Bible study retreats are planned during the year.  Please watch this page for information on the next retreat.
